Um, yeah. Grateful Dawg is the name of a movie released in 2001 about the musical collaboration between Jerry Garcia and David Grisman. Though the preview for the movie seems interesting, the movie doesn't seem to go deep enough into the relationship between these two folk-music giants. I think that the reason I feel that way is because we don't hear enough of Jerry's thoughts (the movie was edited and compiled after his death).
Anyway, there is a strange black and white music video that Jerry Garcia and David Grisman made of B.B. King's song The Thrill is Gone. This music video was previously unreleased and thus perfect material for www.lostmelodies.com. Jerry even allowed them to trim his beard and hair for this video! Anyway, I was able to track down two versions: a quicktime version (large file) and a Windows media version.
