All you need is Love?

So, the Beatles finally officially allowed a mash-up of their music. This time instead of combining the music of the Beatles mixed with the rapping of Jay-Z (as part of the Grey Album), the music on the newly released “Love” album is Beatles mashed up with Beatles. Do you love “Love” or hate it? Let me know. Here are some tracks:

  1. Webomatica says:

Awesome I was hoping someone found access to the streams. I think I might try to find the CD to buy tomorrow…

  2. […] Here is a blog (Lost Melodies) that has some streams to the “new” tracks. […]

  3. I heard the whole CD played on Sunday at WMGK, Classic Rock 102.9, in Philadelphia. They have a show called BREAKFAST WITH THE BEATLES every Sunday morning and LOVE was featured this week. As a total Beatles freak I found it to be very interesting. However, unless you go to the show, or are extremely familiar with The Beatles music, you won’t get the full effect of the mashups. I believe casual fans will not find this interesting.

  4. Just wanted to let you know about, a site devoted to original music that sounds like or is influenced by the Beatles. There’s a 24/7 radio stream devoted to this music, and there are audio profiles, including a brand new one with Drake Bell to be posted next week, who recently released his Beatles-inspired disc, It Takes Time.
